1. The short version
Every message sent through Linkvo should be one that a reasonable website owner would be glad, or at least not upset, to receive: from a real, identifiable sender, relevant to their site, easy to decline and never repeated after a no.
2. What every sender must do
- Identify yourself truthfully: use your real name and organisation, and accurate “From”, “Reply-To” and header information.
- Send only from mailboxes and domains that you own or are authorised to use.
- Include a clear, working way to opt out in every email (Linkvo adds one automatically; do not remove or hide it) and stop contacting anyone who opts out or asks you to stop.
- Include a valid physical postal address where the law requires it, for example under CAN-SPAM.
- Contact business addresses about a genuine editorial or collaboration proposal that is relevant to the recipient’s website.
- Follow the rules of your email provider, including sending limits and bulk-sender requirements.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including CAN-SPAM, the UK GDPR and PECR, the EU GDPR and CASL.
3. What you must not do
- Send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or messages unrelated to the recipient’s website.
- Upload or contact purchased, rented, shared or scraped contact lists, or personal (non-business) email addresses of private individuals.
- Impersonate any person or organisation, use false or misleading headers, sender names or subject lines, or misrepresent who you are or why you are writing.
- Bypass, disable or ignore opt-outs; re-add suppressed contacts; or switch mailboxes, domains, workspaces or accounts to get around opt-outs, suppression, cooldowns or sending limits.
- Send phishing, malware or messages designed to obtain passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
- Send or promote illegal content or content that is defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit or that infringes anyone’s rights.
- Make deceptive claims, offer fake reviews, or promote scams or misleading offers.
- Use the Service to build link farms, private blog networks or automated link-exchange schemes, or arrange paid links without the disclosure required by the publisher or search engine guidelines.
- Solve, bypass or attempt to bypass CAPTCHAs or other bot protection, or submit contact forms where the website clearly prohibits automated or commercial submissions.
- Harass website owners: keep contacting a site after it has declined, exceed the follow-ups the Service allows, or contact the same site from several workspaces or accounts.
4. Protecting the Service
You must not:
- create multiple accounts to obtain extra trials or limits, or share or resell access;
- copy, scrape or export the site intelligence database in bulk, or use it outside the Service;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service, or probe or test its security without our written permission;
- reverse engineer the Service or use it to build a competing product.
5. Built-in safeguards
To protect recipients and deliverability for everyone, Linkvo enforces warm-up schedules, daily sending limits, cooldowns between contacts with the same site, a global suppression list shared across all workspaces, and automatic pausing when bounce or complaint rates are too high. These safeguards are part of the Service and you must not attempt to get around them.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches. Depending on the severity, we may warn you, pause sending, remove content, suspend or terminate your account without refund, and report illegal activity to the relevant authorities. Where a breach puts recipients, other customers or the Service at risk, we may act immediately and without prior notice.
7. Reporting abuse
To report spam or abuse sent through Linkvo, email [email protected] and, if possible, include the full message with headers.
If you own a website and want no Linkvo user to contact you again, use our opt-out page.
